Give Us Some Respect

by Genr8 Music

Give Us Some Respect” is a demand for recognition from independent creators using new tools to make music on their own terms. It pushes back against the idea that AI-assisted work should be dismissed before the human effort, writing, direction and intent behind it are even considered. The song isn’t asking everyone to agree with the technology - it’s asking for the work, the creator and the process to be judged fairly. You don’t have to like it. You don’t have to use it. But at least give us some respect.
