That place doesn't even have a name
Reflections of a Vietnam veteran having returned to civilian life and never quite readjusted: camaraderie and firefights feature in flashbacks which seem to occur daily in his life. He seems to be living in the early 1980s, when PTSD was a newly-coined term for what he and others like him had become intimately familiar with yet somehow managed to suppress or keep in balance. The soldier does not appear to have left too much of the war behind him. I guess the experience could equally apply to Korea, the Gulf War or other conflicts.
