The War Behind Your Eyes

by Genr8 Music

The War Behind Your Eyes is about the battles people carry internally that nobody else can see. It explores pressure, fear, anger, memories and the effort it takes to keep functioning while your mind is fighting on several fronts at once. The song focuses on that contrast between looking composed on the outside and dealing with chaos underneath. Some of the hardest wars leave no visible scars they happen behind your eyes.
