The secret is that the song doesn't simply describe an event. It puts the listener inside the little boy's imagination. I'm going to use that same design: • A whispered childhood memory to open the story. • Detailed verses that unfold like scenes in a Christmas movie. • A recurring chorus with a strong, memorable name-and-phrase hook. • Little sounds and mysterious happenings that make the boy believe Santa is really there. • A magical bridge where imagination and reality become almost impossible to separate. • A huge final chorus and an emotional ending.
