The Quiet One

KOWiN is a Manchester-based Human + AI music project blending dark male R&B/pop vocals, emotional songwriting and modern boyband-inspired production. KOWiN’s AI vocal persona was developed from my own original vocals recorded during previous studio recordings, giving the project a genuine human foundation and a vocal identity rooted in my own voice. I provide the creative direction and continue to develop the sound, style and identity of KOWiN, with AI used to generate the final vocal performance, instrumentation and production. “The Quiet One” explores the hidden insecurity that can exist behind a confident exterior—the thoughts, doubts and emotions that aren't always visible to others. It's about appearing strong and self-assured while quietly dealing with uncertainty underneath, ultimately embracing the idea that being quiet doesn't mean being weak.
