The Gambler (Plangent folk lament)
Animation of Flemish artwork by Theodoor Rombouts, "The Card Players", c.1625. The theme of gambling, luck and invested stakes is echoed in the lute player's lament over his adventures in love. A little Ko-fi keeps the music flowing! https://ko-fi.com/nathanchoonz
