The Gate opens the album by confronting the argument that AI-assisted music somehow isn’t ‘real’ creativity. It sets up the central question running through the project: who gets to decide what counts as art when the tools change? The track challenges gatekeeping, questions old definitions of authenticity, and introduces the idea that technology can change the process without removing the human intent behind it. The gate is there, this song is about walking straight through it.
